Goddess Spirituality
“It remains for women to interpret the Goddess as women relating to Woman; and only black women, Oriental women, and Native American women can completely rediscover and reanimate the original Goddesses of Africa, Asia, and the Americas for us.” (p. 31 The Great Cosmic Mother) So were does that leave white Europeans and Americans? We worship many different Goddesses today and through out history. Today we have an opportunity to examine where we are as women and where we are headed. As women continue to start their own groups to learn and grow to find themselves connecting with other women; where will we find the Goddess today? What part of her – of ourselves do we want to cultivate? What does not work anymore? When one starts to examine these and many other questions there is connection that changes and is enhanced.
